Have you ever seen such a cool cabin community? Kelsey and Chris built all the cabins you see on property of Cuyuna Cove in Crosby, Minnesota. This is the perfect getaway for solo travelers, couples wanting a getaway or simply a trip for two! It’s steps away from the fun downtown of Crosby, Minnesota and a stone throw from the Cuyuna Recreation Area. Mountain biking is huge in this area, and they’ve built storage for your bike right across from your cabin, and even have a bike wash. Relax in the evening with a community fire pit and a warm sit in the on site sauna. There is enough gadgets and supplies in the kitchen to cook meals. Some of the appliances within the cabin are: microwave, single burner stove, toaster, mini fridge, French press, kettle, to name a few. I stayed in the cabin Mangan, you can book any cabin here.
Some of the activities I’d recommend in the area are:
- Cuyuna Brewing lovely brewery in walking distance
- Red Raven Coffee + Bike Shop rent bikes here, or just come for coffee and treats!
- Burritos California located right next to Cuyuna Brewing, you can bring a burrito to the brewery to eat!
- Victual great spot to grab cheese, meat, crackers, and more snacks!
- Rafferty’s Pizza can’t beat a good pizza after a day adventuring!
- Hiking or Biking the Cuyuna Recreational Area
- Kayaking, SUP, or canoeing on Serpent Lake
- Croft Pub classic food with a laid back feel!
- Fishing any of the lakes or rivers
- Father Hennepin State Park offers great hiking trail with good views of the river, I love it in the fall time!
